prelims has half officially started since like four days ago?
had phy on wed..
bio on thurs..
and chem on fri..
and as usual..
i was as careless as can be lahx..>.<
phy was like weird lahx..
cuz ah..
there was an electricity experiment..
and we were supposed to find a point where we could get a 0.15A reading..
and apparently i cant get it..
my lowest is 0.17A..
BUT..
the person b4 could get it lahx..
and his lowest was like 0.12A?
aHHH!
thats like so weird and illogical can?
then we had to use the micro-meter to find the diameter of a wire..
and somehow..
dunno whhy..
its supposed to be 0.28mm..
but i put it down as 28mm..
thats like a HUGE difference lahx!
and i nv once thought that sth was amiss..>.<
haiis..
then somemore..
this value had to be used for a lot of calculations in other parts..
so im like gone..>.<
then comes bio..
apparently..
they had to come out with the tings that i didnt gone thru b4 the exam lahx..
draw the cross section of a celery..
and then label it..
even thou i vaguely remembered that the phloem was supposed to be able to be seen..
but since i cant see it..
i nv draw it?=x
terrible..
hahas..
ohhs!
and i used three green beans to draw my drawing of one green bean..
hees..
i actualli took them back wanting to post their pictures here lahx..
but now..
they all shrivelled up..
so err..
nvm..
hees..
then the first part of bio practical is so weird lahx..
we had to test for reducing sugar and starch..
by theory..
there should be no reducing sugar present at first lahx..
but some ppl had positive test for it..
but i dun have..
hahas..
then for the second part to it..
we were supposed to test for it again..
this time..
there is supposed to have reducing sugar lahx..
but..
NONE of us could get it..
no one can..
this is like weird lahx..
aniway..
i had a lot of time spared for bio practical..
so i was there cutting the celery to sort of err sizes?
hahas..
ohhs..
and we had to redo the starch and reducing sugar de experiment bcuz the temperature of the water that they gave was too high..
and it denatured all the enzymes..
and they didnt give us extra time for it lorr..
not that it matters much to mi lahx..
cuz i had tons of time..=x
rights..
then comes chem..
for the titration part..
it was perfect lahx..
hahas..
thou i fake out my ans for the third titration i did..
cuz the reading was too far off from the first and second one..
and i couldnt be bothered to redo it..
hahas..
so i used my second reading which was 25.6cm^3..
an my ans is exactly the same as my teacher's ans.. =))
but the dumb part comes at the QA part lahx..
apparently..
i didnt bothered to take notice of the instructions on top..
mayb cuz i was perspiring like siao..
like all 20 students had their busen burners on..
and no fans..
and windows all shut off..
it was like sauna lahx..>.<
yahx..
so i missed out a veri important statement..
sayin that all teh unknown are sodium compunds..
and so..
my ans did not include sodium..=((
i wrote down iodine instead of sodium iodide..
like how dumb can i get..>.<
then i also redid one of my experiments at the end lahx..
cuz i couldnt get aniting for the first time..
then the second time..
when i finally have something..
im like so stunned..>.<
cuz i didnt noe that iodine produces crystals that are sOoOoOo beautiful lorr..
too bad couldnt take a photo of it..
haiis..
and then..
i wrote that it was silvery yellow particles..
hahas..
cuz i didnt noe that was crystals..=x

then for another experiment..
we had to test for gas lahx..
somehow..
on that day..
all the skewers dun wanna become lighted splint or glowing splint lahx..
so dumb..
then when i finally got a lighted splint..
i haven even put it into the test tube..
it had alreadi extinguished with a 'pop' sound lahx..
so naturally..
i tot it was hydrogen..>.<
aHHH!
and i didnt go test for other gases lorr!
when i had alreadi prepare them..
i got the potassium dichromate there..
prepared all readi..
and i didnt use it..
how dumb can i get?!
if i had used it ah..
i would have known it was sulphur dioxide gas lahx..
wahs laos!
faints..
so mani careless mistakes..>.<
so mani marks gone..>.<
but ahh..
nvm lahx..
at least better than if i did this during 'O' levels rights..=x
i'll be dead then..>.<
